The "Eco Frame" system (by SMS Timber Frame) is a cost effective, no nonsense approach, allowing you to construct an extremely well insulated house or extension without the inflated costs usually associated with "Eco" products.

Posi-Joists

Posi-joists combine the lightness of timber with the strength of steel web, you can span far greater distances than would be possible with alternative timber products and also is beneficial to running services through your floor cavity space.


 

    I-Beam

 I-beams can be used as floor joists, roof rafters and wall studs. They are mainly used in deep panel systems to minimise the effects of cold bridging and also to maintain the lightweight appeal to the timber frame system.

 
 

 Posi-studs, or space studs are used to create deep wall panels to improve amount of insulation that placed in your external walls, in return saving you energy. Again combining timber and steel to create a strong, lightweight structure, whilst eliminating cold bridging and getting the best possible U value for your home.
